In accordance with the Emergency Health Orders of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, we are caring for medically-necessary conditions and procedures during this Phase 1 of the Alberta Relaunch.

We realize that this can be a stressful time for many people.  By putting these measures in place, we are maximizing your safety while we are best attending to your medical needs.

We thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you.

At this time Aesthetic services cannot be provided until Phase 2 is declared.  We thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.  Be Safe.

During this extraordinary time, our office has put in place a number of new processes in order to safeguard your health and that of our staff.  You will notice the following changes:

All contact surfaces within the office such as counter tops, handles, and touchpad have been treated with an antimicrobial protection, and are sanitized by cleansers after each patient.

All staff will be wearing medical masks, and all nurses and Dr. Searles will be wearing N95 masks and be using gloves and hand sanitizer at all times.

Seating within the office has been arranged to respect social distancing.

All magazines and other reading materials have been removed to make the environment as contactless as possible.
Here is what you can expect during your appointment with us.

You will receive a confirmation call prior to the appointment date.  During this call, you will be asked if you have any of the following:

  • Presence of fever
  • Presence of cough
  • Presence of sore throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Any recent travel outside of Alberta within the past 14 days
  • Any exposure to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19

If you answer yes to any of these questions, we ask that you postpone your appointment and we will be happy to rebook your appointment.

In order to protect you and others, we request that you:

  • Plan to attend your appointment alone.  If you need to have someone accompany you, we ask that only one other person come with you at your appointment. This is to minimize the number of people within the office at any time.
  • Please respect the social distancing by observing the floor markers in front of each reception area.
  • Please wear a mask during the appointment.
  • Please bring your own pen in case it is needed.  If you do not have one, a sanitized pen will be provided for you.
  • Please use the hand sanitizer that is provided.
  • Please be seated in the Reception area provided.  The Reception seating has been separated to provide safe distancing.  All surfaces of the seats have been protected with an antiviral treatment.
  • Our Reception staff will review the same screening medical questions and your temperature will be taken using a non contact thermometer by the nursing staff.
